Beatriz acts for a range of stakeholders in distress transactions and has advised clients involved in some of the most prominent and noteworthy restructurings in Brazil in deals spanning some of Brazil’s most important sectors, including power, infrastructure, oil and gas and sugar and ethanol. She also has experience across a broad range of debt financing products, advising both borrowers and lenders on bank lending, leveraged finance transactions, project finance, and structured debt. She also advises on cross-border equity investments, acquisitions and related financings.

Beatriz is recognized by the leading directories such as Chambers and Partners in Bankruptcy/Restructuring, Who’s Who Legal: Brazil: Restructuring & Insolvency, The Legal 500: Restructuring and Insolvency, Análise Advocacia and Análise Editorial Mulher. Beatriz also has been recognised in Global Restructuring Review’s ’40 under 40′ 2022 list, highlighting leading individuals in the restructuring and insolvency industry.

Prior to founding Padis Mattar Advogados, Beatriz worked at Stocche Forbes Advogados and was an international associate at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton, in New York.
