Eduardo Augusto Mattar is a partner specialized in insolvency, special situations and dispute resolution. Before founding Padis Mattar Advogados, Eduardo was partner for more than 10 years in one of the most prestigious law firms in Brazil, having developed its renowned insolvency and litigation/arbitration area. For the last 20 years, Eduardo has advised clients in matters related to the largest and most complex local and cross border insolvency cases, with special focus on distressed assets, representing strategic players in the most relevant judicial reorganizations in Brazil, since the first cases under the enactment of the current reorganization and bankruptcy law.
