Renata is a partner at Padis Mattar Advogados. With more than 20 years of experience, Renata’s practice is focused on debt restructuring, bankruptcy, civil litigation, and arbitration, in addition to having an extensive knowledge of corporate law and M&A transactions, areas on which she initially focused her practice.

Renata has acted in the main judicial reorganization proceedings since the enactment of the current reorganization and bankruptcy law, always representing key players in the proceedings in sectors such as sugar and alcohol, energy, automobile, oil and gas, real estate development, among others.

Renata also represents clients in complex domestic and cross border distressed transactions, such as M&A, financing, foreign investment, credit recovery, and the structuring of collateral packages. In addition, she acts in litigation with focus on corporate and M&A disputes, joint ventures, among others.

Renata is admitted to practice law in Brazil and in the State of New York, USA.
